**📱 MONZERO (XMZ) — ANDROID RELEASE UPDATE 📢**
**25 October 2026 | Mobile Wallet & CPU Miner**
**RELEASE STATUS: v1.0.0 — EARLY ANDROID RELEASE**
----------------------------------------
**🚀 MONZERO IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ANDROID**
We are pleased to announce the release of **Monzero Wallet** and **Monzero Miner** for Android.
These two applications bring XMZ wallet access and pool mining to mobile devices, giving the community another way to participate in the Monzero network.
----------------------------------------
**💼 MONZERO WALLET**
✔ Send and receive XMZ from your Android phone.
✔ Keep your wallet keys on your device.
✔ Synchronise through **node.monzero.org** or a node you choose.
✔ Built on the open-source **Monerujo** wallet.
The wallet supports **Android 5 and newer**. An **arm64 build** is available for most phones, alongside a **universal build** supporting x86-64 devices and emulators.
----------------------------------------
**⛏️ MONZERO MINER**
The Android miner uses **XMRig** to mine XMZ through the Monzero pool using your phone’s processor.
Its default settings help manage resource use:
✔ Mining runs only while charging.
✔ Mining pauses when the battery reaches **40°C**.
✔ The miner uses **half the CPU cores**.
The miner supports **Android 7 and newer** and retains XMRig’s standard **1% developer donation**.
**Phone mining earns little and generates heat.** It provides another way to participate, but users should keep expectations realistic and monitor their device.
----------------------------------------
**📥 DOWNLOAD & INSTALL**
Both applications are available now as **direct APK downloads** from the [official Monzero downloads page](https://monzero.org/download/).
**1.** Choose the appropriate wallet APK or the Android miner.
**2.** Download and open it on your phone.
**3.** Allow your browser or file manager to install the application when Android prompts you.
**4.** Check the published SHA-256 checksum and signing-certificate information.
The Android source package is also available for community inspection.
----------------------------------------
**🔐 EARLY RELEASE — COMMUNITY TESTING MATTERS**
These Android applications have **not yet been independently audited**. Start with small amounts while testing the wallet.
Please share your device model, Android version, and any reproducible problems when reporting issues. Never include recovery seeds, private keys, or passwords.
Security issues can be reported privately to **security@monzero.org**.
----------------------------------------
**📋 WHAT COMES NEXT?**
Google Play and F-Droid distribution are planned. **Direct APK installation is the current release channel.**
Community feedback will help identify compatibility issues and guide improvements to the mobile experience.
----------------------------------------
**📱 ANOTHER STEP FORWARD FOR MONZERO! ⛏️**
Thank you to everyone testing, mining, running nodes, and helping the project develop.
