Website information · Draft dated 20 October 2026

Website Terms

These terms describe the intended use of monzero.org, its public information and optional website services.

Draft for legal review. These proposed terms are published under the Monzero project name. The operator's legal identity and country are not publicly disclosed. These pages do not claim legal completeness or replace rights provided by applicable law.

Scope and project identity

Monzero is an independent open-source cryptocurrency project. The website provides documentation, downloads, observations and links to project services. The website is maintained under the Monzero project name; its operator's legal identity and country are not publicly disclosed. The project contact is security@monzero.org.

These website terms do not change the licence included with any software release, the blockchain's rules, or the terms of a separately operated service. Check each repository and package for its applicable licence. An external directory listing or community link does not make its operator a partner or security auditor.

Software, network information and risk

Use the release notes, checksums and signature instructions on the downloads page before running software. Published validation limits matter: a “stable” version label is not an independent audit or a guarantee of safety. Monzero has no published independent security audit.

Create a fresh Monzero wallet and protect its seed and keys. Never reuse a Monero wallet, seed or keys with Monzero. Website staff will not need your seed or private spend keys to answer a support request. The website cannot recover lost keys or guarantee reversal of a confirmed blockchain transfer.

Network statistics, price conversions, mining estimates and service indicators can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Check their timestamps and source records. Mining consumes electricity and computing resources; rewards and profitability depend on changing conditions. XMZ may have limited or no exchange access and can lose value.

Information on the site is general project information, not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. It does not promise a return, exchange acceptance, liquidity, complete anonymity or uninterrupted operation. Get qualified advice where your circumstances require it.

Accounts and optional services

Use accurate information when a service requires it, keep your password and authenticator secure, and use only accounts and payout addresses you are authorised to control. The faucet applies published verification, cooldown, funding and abuse-prevention limits. A request is not a promise that a payout will be made; check its recorded status.

Community voting is a non-binding indication of participating members' preferences. It does not confer ownership, investment rights or control over consensus. Telegram alerts are best effort; verify a miner's status and payouts at the relevant source.

The browser-based Monzero Studio prepares local project drafts. Its presence on the site does not mean that on-chain asset issuance or trading is available. Each service's page describes its current capabilities and limitations.

Access may be limited during maintenance, an incident, depleted faucet funding or a breach of the published service rules. Contact the project about an apparent mistake. Personal-data practices and current disclosure gaps are described in the Privacy Policy.

Donations and fundraising

Check the funding page, campaign purpose, currency and receiving address before donating. Public-chain receipts converted to US dollars are estimates and are not the same as the project's unspent balance. Private XMZ donations are not included in a public-chain total unless expressly verified.

A donation supports the stated project purpose. It does not purchase equity, a guaranteed reward, an exchange listing or a promised investment return. The current listing target is an estimate that includes trading funds; there is no published formal exchange fee quote or confirmed listing.

The published funding policy keeps money for the next listing if the planned listing does not proceed. Any movement between goals must be reported. These terms do not introduce a new refund policy or remove any right a donor has under applicable law. Contact the project about a mistaken payment; do not assume a blockchain transfer can be reversed.

Responsible use and contributions

Do not use the site to deceive others, impersonate project staff, steal credentials or funds, expose someone else's personal information, or interfere with services. Do not evade account or claim limits. Use public APIs within their documented limits.

Security research must follow the published disclosure and testing rules. Disruptive testing belongs on systems and private networks you control with permission. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately.

Submit only material you have permission to share. Public issues, pull requests, discussions, benchmarks and other approved submissions can be read and copied by others. Follow the licence and contribution instructions of the relevant repository; these website terms do not impose an additional transfer of ownership over your work.

Third-party services and legal rights

Links to pools, exchanges, explorers, repositories and social platforms are provided for reference. Verify the destination and its current terms independently. An application, planned integration, sponsored profile or fundraising target does not establish a completed integration or an operational market.

Availability, accuracy and security cannot be guaranteed. Nothing in these draft terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricts mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, or requires you to waive a statutory remedy. These draft terms do not designate a governing law, exclusive court or arbitration process. The law that applies must be assessed independently; the project name does not identify an incorporated entity.

Changes and enquiries

Final terms and later revisions should carry a clear effective date and be reviewed for the operator's applicable legal obligations. Material changes should be explained before they take effect; this draft does not create retrospective obligations. Send questions to security@monzero.org.
