About Monzero
Monzero (XMZ) is an independent, community-run privacy currency built from the Monero codebase, with its own chain (genesis block 25 August 2026), address prefixes, ports and emission schedule. Amounts are hidden with RingCT, senders in rings of 16, and every payment goes to a one-time address. It is mined with RandomX on ordinary CPUs. There was no premine, no ICO, no token sale and there is no developer fee in the block reward.
The founder mined early blocks like any miner and publishes a founder holdings statement with dated commitments.
